As many of you know, the RTP zone has become heavily inhabited, leaving little room for new players. There are numerous long abandoned bases and builds in this area. As such, I will get to work on cleaning up this area to make space for new players to settle down. This zone falls within the coordinates 0,0 to +/-9,000.
Beginning March 19th, I will start removing the following types of builds and bases within the RTP Zone:
○ Random messes.
○ "Dirt huts/Shacks"
○ Heavily griefed builds of inactive players.
○ Empty claims (I will check underground for hidden bases in these claims).
○ Mega roads that cut through several biomes and serve no functional purpose.
○ Builds by players who only logged on a few times and have been offline for at least a month.
○ Small builds by players who only logged on once and have been offline for more than 10 days.
○ Builds of players who have been offline for more than 3 months, unless the build is significant.
○ Massive claims may be reduced in size, regardless of activity. If you have one of these in the RTP zone, please be considerate and only claim what you're actually going to use.
• I shall also attempt to repair/refill deserts that have been heavily depleted for sand.
• If your build or your activity does not fall within these parameters, your build will not be removed.
• If you have an old base in this zone that you no longer need or use, removing it to make room for newbies would be very much appreciated! (We don't expect anyone to tear anything down they don't want to!) Only remove your own builds, if you want to!
• The server might be whitelisted while I worldedit away larger areas, because this cause severe lag and in some cases, can crash the server.
• If you have found something that you would like staff to check out, please post coordinates and screenshots on Discord, in the greiefed areas channel.
• This will be an ongoing process after we have successfully cleaned up the zone.
◘ Please be advised that it is NOT allowed to build long roads on the overworld. It cuts into too much build area and they are often built directly up against someones claim or within 200 blocks. If you are building a path or road (not random blocks) from one base to another and they are relatively close to each other that's fine, but roads that are hundreds to thousands of blocks long are not allowed. It mars the terrain. These roads will be deleted and materials will not be returned.
◘ Placing random blocks to practice speed bridging or just building in the air = griefing. This isn't allowed and if you do not adhere to a warning, you will receive a short ban.
