How do I join the server?
Connect to our Minecraft server by joining our multiplayer IP: quantum-mc.net
We support premium and cracked Minecraft players only with versions 1.8-1.15.2 but we highly recommend the latest version: 1.15.2
PvP vs. PvE vs. SMP
PvP is Player versus Player. Typically, this means that PvP at any time for any reason is allowed on the server.
You are never safe from another player.
Use /kitpvp to visit/play this gamemode.
PvE is Player versus Entity/Environment. This means that PvP is completely turned off and only hostile mobs can harm you.
Use /skyblock or /survival to play these gamemodes.
SMP stands for Survival MultiPlayer and combines the two. SMP servers are mostly PvE with PvP only allowed upon mutual agreement.
Use /survival or /vanilla to play these gamemodes.
What are the official server rules?
All in-game server rules, restrictions and punishments are outlined here.
How do I earn in-game money on the server?
Survival, Skyblock, Vanilla, KitPvp:
• Win chat reaction games.
• Use /trade to trade with players.
• Use /ah (auction) to sell items.
• You can earn money by voting. You will receive keys, which you can use at /warp crates on any gamemode. By opening crates, you stand a chance to win in-game money.
Survival & Skyblock:
• Create a ChestShop.
• Sell your items (from farms or grinding).
• Sell your items via /shop or /sell hand or /sell all.
Survival:
• /jobs browse to start a job.
Vanilla:
• Open crates
• Mine for diamonds
• Sell items via /ah
• Create a ChestShop
What are claimblocks and how do I get them?
Claimblocks allow you to claim your land on /survival. No one will be able to edit anything inside your claim without your permission. You start out with 200 claimblocks. The first time you place a chest, it will automatically create a 9x9 claim surrounding the chest. You can get more claimblocks by playing (200 per hour of play), buying them on the donation store, and by winning them from the vote crates via /vote.
Like above, you get claimblocks the same way on /vanilla. You also get claimblocks from vote crates and Legendary crates.
Players can also use /trade to trade claimblocks with others.
How do I rank up?
• When you /vote in game, you receive keys which you can use at /warp crates. In the crates are rank-vouchers. So by voting, you stand a chance to win free ranks.
• If you already have the rank you won, or have a higher rank than the rank-voucher, you can sell the voucher for in-game money or player points.
• You can buy ranks from /pointsshop.
• Additionally, you can support the server by purchasing ranks (and other items) at our donations store.
How do I become staff?
One does not simply "become staff" at Quantum Galaxies.
We look for players who have shown an interest in helping the community, show maturity and understanding,
and demonstrate a dedication to the community's well-being.
We also look for friendly players who already help players in whatever capacity they can.
It's important to communicate via the forums/discord, so we look for players who communicate there regularly.
We will only ever take applications for Helpers. We are always keeping an eye out for people who could make potentially good Helpers.
If you are a helpful person who genuinely cares about the community, your actions will not go unnoticed.
There will be announcements in game and on the forums whenever applications for Helper are open.
Please note that you must be on the server for a total of 30 days before we will consider your application for a staff position.
How do I become a Builder or Youtuber for the server?
Both are special ranks that must be applied for.
The requirements for both ranks are stipulated on our forums.
Our Youtube Rank is also for Live Streamers or any other type of Content Creator.
Read more about how to become a Builder on our server here.
Read more about how to become a Youtuber on our server here.
What do I receive when I vote?
• On each site you vote, you will receive vote keys in game to use at /warp crates on all gamemodes.
• You also receive player points, which can be used to buy any items in-game which players might be selling, such as tags and ranks. Player points are worth a lot, because they are rare and very valuable/useful.
What are Player Points? How to get them and use them?
• Player Points are a global currency throughout the server, but can have different in-game value depending on the gamemode.
• On each site you vote, you receive Player Points (usually referred to as PP by players).
• Players also sell PP in game via the /points pay (name) (amount) command, for an agreed upon in-game amount of money.
• We (Quantum Galaxies) also offer PP as one of the rewards for the winners of Events.
• You can view your current amount of Player Points by doing /points me in game.
• You can view another player's Player Points by doing /points look (name) in game.
• Depending on the seller, you can literally buy anything in game with Player Points.
• Player Points are mostly used to purchase rank vouchers from other players.
• Use /trade for all trading, player points included.
Players scamming or trying to scam with Player Points, rank vouchers or anything else, will be banned.
Use /trade for safe trading.
Purchases / Donations issues
Our Webstore works fine. Maybe you missed the part where it says how to claim certain items. For instance, for ranks and tags, you have to wait on /hub until the transaction is processed. This can take from 5-30 minutes. Feel free to explore our hub
Server related packages are claimed on the relevant server, for instance, if you purchased crates on KitPvP, please wait 5-30 minutes on the /kitpvp gamemode for the transaction to go through.
If you still haven't received your purchase after an hour, please DM Wolve#9984 on Discord or navigate to our Store Support area to post your issue.
How to use Coloured Text, Nicknames and Signs?

Is Keep Inventory on?
Gamemode: /survival.
Keep Inventory is not on. You will lose your items upon death. We have keep inventory off so that you actually have consequences for death. Thus, making you take more care in how to best "survive." If you do die, staff will not teleport you to your deathpoint but you may do /dp and it will show you the coordinates of your last death, making it easier for you to have a chance at retrieving your items.
Gamemode: /vanilla.
Same as above. Keep Inventory is not on. When you die, your death coordinates will appear on your screen. Staff will not teleport you.
Can I kill other players, or can other players kill me?
Gamemodes: /survival & /vanilla
Yes, other players can kill you. However, since we are a server that values a peaceful and friendly community, PvP is allowed only if both players agree to fight each other.
It is against our rules to attack someone without provocation, without agreement and with intent to steal their items. You may toggle your PvP on and off using /pvp.
Is griefing or raiding allowed?
Gamemodes: /survival, /vanilla & /skyblock
• Griefing and raiding is never allowed, even if it seems the base is abandoned or if the player is banned.
• Villages may not be griefed/raided. Claim the village or part of it until you can claim the entire village.
• Do not steal/transport villagers. This will result in punishment.
Can I have a Player Warp?
Gamemode: /survival
You can buy your player warp for 25000 in game money.
Gamemode: /skyblock
Once you have a minimum island level of 100, you can set a warp.
Gamemode: /vanilla
You can purchase a player warp by typing /pw. Warps costs 50 diamonds and you have to rent your warp for 30 days. You will be prompted on day 29 to renew your warp. If you do not renew it, your warp will expire.
When a player is offline for longer than 30 days, their warps will be purged/removed automatically.
Players will pay 3 diamonds each time they visit a player shop.
You can create your warp by typing [Welcome] on the top row of a sign.
Place the sign where you want the warp to be.
Can I have a Chest-Shop and how do I create it?
Gamemodes: /survival, /vanilla & /skyblock
You can have a chest-shop to sell any items.

You sure can.
Change your skin on any gamemode by using the command /skin (premium username).
How big is the survival 1.15.2 map?
The Overworld has a radius of 20000 blocks.
The Nether and the End both have a radius of 10000 blocks.
The nether and end will reset every 3 months.
How big is the vanilla 1.16.1 map?
The Overworld has a radius of 20000 blocks.
The Nether and the End both have a radius of 10000 blocks.
The nether and end does not reset and we will increase the size every 3 months.
What plugins are you using on Quantum Galaxies?
Due to security issues and potential server "thieves", we cannot and will not list the plugins.
What seed is the survival world?
This is also not information we give to players, as it's mostly xrayers inquiring.
What happens to my claims if I am offline for a long period of time?
Claims are only removed if special conditions are met.
• If you have not used a claim, meaning that you haven't opened chests, placed/broke blocks, etc, within 90 days, the claim expires.
• If you have more than 15k claimblocks, the claim will not expire.
Note: If you haven't been logged into the server for over 90 days and have over 15k claimblocks, your claim can still be removed by an admin. This is rare and will only happen if a player requests it. We will only remove the claim if it seems to be an old, never used base or if you are permabanned. In most cases, we will not remove the claim. We are not in the habit of tearing down bases, even if you are gone for a long time.
How do I use Vouchers?
We have different vouchers in different crates and gamemodes. Some of these vouchers include: 30 min fly, McMMo credits, a tag, as well as ranks.
When you have the voucher in your hand, right click on it to equip it. But be careful! If you already have a higher rank than the rank voucher, you will be "down-ranked", instead of ranking up. So if you have a higher rank, or have the same rank already, you may want to give the voucher (rank) to someone else, save it, or sell it for ingame money or player points. Ranks are worth a lot!
You can do the same with your fly and tag vouchers. Sell them or use them yourself.
Fly vouchers lasts 30 minutes or until you log out or change worlds. So make sure you do not logout when you equip it, or travel to another world (such as spawn, the end, nether or any other warp). If you do so, you will lose the ability to fly.
To equip your fly voucher, right click the voucher, then type /fly.
To enable your tag voucher, right click, then type /tags. Select the tag you received in the voucher.
Always check /ah for possible rank, fly, tag or other vouchers.

How do I get Spawners?
Survival:
• You can get spawners in mineshafts, strongholds, and in the nether.
• You can ask a Saturn or higher rank, trusted player to mine the spawner for you with silk touch, or you can claim the area around the spawner until you can mine it or find someone to mine it for you. Staff do not mine spawners for players, because sometimes a spawner breaks or gets lost and staff will not replace it.
• By voting you can win spawners. All the crates have spawners in them.
Spawner types in Legendary crates change seasonally.
These crate keys are available only from the donations store and sometimes sold by a player who bought it from the /store.
• You can purchase all possible spawners directly from the donations store.
• Remember to check /ah or /pwarp to check out player shops.
• Alternatively, you can of course purchase Spawners from /shop.
Skyblock:
• Each island has one blaze spawner, in the nether.

• You can purchase all possible spawners directly from the donations store.
• Remember to check /ah or /is warps to check out player warps/shops.
• Alternatively, you can of course purchase Spawners from /shop.
Vanilla:
• You can get spawners in mineshafts, strongholds, and in the nether.
• By voting you can win spawners or spawn eggs.
• Lucky and Legendary crates also have spawners in them.
Legendary crate keys are available only from the donations store and sometimes sold by a player who bought it from the /store.
• Remember to check /ah or /pwarp to check out player shops.
Important: Spawners on /vanilla are not mineable (silk touchable), but you can claim the area around the spawner and change spawner types with certain mob spawn eggs.
Entity
Entity Limitations (Skyblock, Vanilla & Survival)
There are two types of entities in Minecraft, Entities and Tile/Block Entities.
Definition 1: Entities
Dynamic, moving objects throughout a Minecraft world. Most can be seen when toggling hitboxes on via F3+B.
Maximum: 300 per area (the chunks loaded around you)
The following entities commonly effect or cause lag:
• Mobs
• Boats
• Players
• Paintings
• Primed TNT
• Item Frames
• Armor Stands
• Items (floating)
• Minecarts and variations
Definition 2: Tile or Block Entities
Stores additional information about certain blocks, with the type of information varying by block.
An easy way to remember is that they store data, like banner design or text on a sign, or have an inventory slot.
Maximum: 2500 per area (all the chunks loaded around you)
• Let's say 2000 are your own entities (placed or spawned) and 500 loaded in the world because you are loading the chunks.
◘ This is an excessive amount and you may still be asked to reduce them.
• Hopper Specific Limitations
◘ 60 per chunk (included in the 2500 max/area)
◘ Usage in excess of 1500 per loaded area (is subject to inspection and removal)
• Spawner Specific Limitations
◘ 15 per chunk (included in the 2500 max/area)
○ These entities are not automatically limited. Please use your best estimation.
○ Admins have the ability to count tiles if needed.
○ You may go above this number and not cause any lag, then we will not ask you to reduce entities or reduce them for you.
○ However, if our lag analyser plugin flags you above the 300 rating, then you will be asked to make changes to your farm/grinder immediately. If you do not do so within 48 hours, we will be forced to remove it with worldedit.
Listed below are the tile entities that commonly affect lag.
• Sign
• Chest
• Banner
• Beacon
• Hopper
• Furnace
• Ender Chest
• Shulker Box
• Trapped Chest
• Brewing Stand
• Piston Extensions
• Mob/Player Heads
• Dispenser/Dropper
• Enchantment Table
• Redstone Comparator
For a full list and more information, click here.
Below you can see the top 10 laggiest chunks.
Hovering over the data will allow us to see some information or immediately teleport to it.
Once there, we calculate the server's timing and it shows up like this. Showing all the entities loaded by one person.
As mentioned above, we will allow 500 extra entities, for naturally spawned mobs, such as spiders, wandering villagers, wolves, etc. However, the other entities will need to be reduced in the above case.
Land Claims
Gamemodes: /survival & /vanilla
• No Griefing
◘ Do not alter someone else's’ build without permission, even if it seems abandoned.
◘ Do not kill someone’s mobs without permission.
• No Raiding
◘ Do not steal from chests that are not yours, even if it seems abandoned.
• Do not claim someone else's base.
• "Abandoned" buildings and claims are off-limits unless you have permission to remove it from the owner or an admin.
• If you didn’t build it, don’t touch it!
• Do not build within 200 blocks of a players base or a community area.
Use the stick to check for nearby claims:
Right click a stick in the area you would like to claim. Do not claim if you get this message:
"Found 1 land claim"
You may only claim the land if you receive the following message:
"Found 0 land claims"
Disallowed Mob farms/grinders
These types of farms are NOT allowed on the server.
Any machine or farm that has constantly dispensing water is not allowed.
This is because it creates GB's worth of data in our block logging plugin per farm.
Our plugin logs all newly flowing water for grief rollback purposes.
If that database is exceptionally large, it slows down the server.
If you have any questions, please use the Discord #support channel. Thanks for your understanding.
Connect to our Minecraft server by joining our multiplayer IP: quantum-mc.net
We support premium and cracked Minecraft players only with versions 1.8-1.15.2 but we highly recommend the latest version: 1.15.2
